Our Mentors

Expert educators who teach for understanding, not exam prep. Many hold PhDs from leading institutions. All have deep experience with gifted learners.

What Our Mentors Do

Our mentors are not lecturers delivering content or drill instructors running students through problems. They are classroom craftspeople who:

Design learning sequences that surface misconceptions early—before they calcify into 'knowledge' that blocks deeper understanding

Curate authentic contexts drawn from research labs, engineering practice, field experience, and the history of ideas—not just textbook examples

Coach reasoning through questioning, not telling. When a student makes a claim, the mentor asks: 'What's your evidence? What would change your mind? How would you test that?'

Model intellectual honesty by acknowledging uncertainty, correcting their own mistakes publicly, and showing that even experts sit with confusion
